Exclamation Why build yellows?

I've always felt that yellow towers are a lot like green towers, but only fire once a year. I might build one or two and tell them to shoot at bosses, but that's mostly just for tradition. By the time I can afford yellow towers, I find it far more efficient to upgrade the greens and reds.

They are particularly bad at killing yellow... bows? ties? Whatever they are, the basic yellow creep. They usually arrive in swarms and while a green tower can almost always take 'em out in a fraction of a second, yellow ones take several seconds per creep...

If they charged faster as they upgraded, I might use them.
Now there's a challenge; finish a level with ONLY YELLOWS!

1. They have a great range and damage, so they may fire once in two seconds, but all of the wave's time so it's not so bad.
2. Yellow Rotors often come in swarms? That's because the one who made the map said that most yellows came in swarms to make you say "Ah, why did I buy a yellow tower..."
3. They are very good to beat bosses.

As my computer lags at the moment, I will try later to beat a level with only Yellows.
By the way, no tower fires faster by upgrading, why would this one do?

Yellows also work much better against HG's and PP's, as those creeps have damage reduction. And if you try the map "Yellow Fortress" in the development version of HexTD you'll notice that in the right configuration yellows can even handle swarms, though not as good as red towers...

did it made my own map (used existing waves) and gave myself 4 bonus towers to start but it can be done, athough i agree it is easier with red green and blue towers aswell
