Default tips and suggestions

I like the new variations brought to this game - more information would help though. Like enemy hitpoints, current price of wall, sawmill, hut and upgrades. Number of upgrades bought.

What are your strategies? Do you go for the score multiplier? I go for the autotower builder and the autowall builder, but aint doing to well with that.

Enemy HP doubles with each new monster. It starts on 1, raises to 2, 4, 8, 16, etc. The weakest of each monster is green and the strongest is red.

You don't think all that extra info like number of upgrades wouldn't make the GUI less palatable? The graphics and GUI have been a frequent complaint in my games and I tried to make it better this time around.

I've found that both score upgrades are great to get as they can more than double the score you end up with. I used mostly the 100-gold-for-100-points upgrade for each of my listed scores. But getting too many score upgrades will leave your defenses lacking so it's a tradeoff and you have to balance them out.

The auto tower and wall builder have done fairly well for me in hard mode, where sawmills and iron mines make a lot more difference because enemies have less damage spread around more surface area.

Uh oh... IceSoda scored almost 800,000 on Normal mode??

Was that accomplished honestly or did IceSoda have a program to alter memory?

If I were to design it, I might think about doing the text and info stuff i a good cartoonish font, or something that makes it readable, but not just black text. It would be more pleasing to the eyes with a formatting of the info too. Ex put damage range and so forth in columns, that makes the amount of text needed to be read much smaller for the information you get.

This is in no way a critic, I realy like the game, and think it deserves a much wider recognition. I have a feeling formatting the info would help.

I just updated the help to a better font which is bolder and much easier to read, the new version 1.01 should be on the site shortly.

And someone got 99 million on easy mode??

If it's a bug that let you get that score, let me know and I'll fix it. Otherwise I'll just guess that gm0 is using a program to alter the score variable before submitting it.

I think mochi permits me to erase cheat entries from a high score list, I'll look into it.

It is, although there are no HP bars.

This game is awesome =].
The graphics do need a little touching up.
When I got quite far into the game my huts kept dissapearing. '-'

Thanks, glad you like it. I'm pretty decent with game mechanics but not so great with graphics as you can spot.

Alhough I've played through many games and my huts never disappeared. Are you sure you're not using a program to mess with the game's memory values?
