Round 100 passed! *No Cheats*

I finally accomplished what I had been trying to do since I started playing and it was no disappointment. Although the rounds became exceedingly boring and more of a pain to get through than fun, it was worth it. The last 10 rounds were the hardest. I could have easily passed them with the storm beacon but I decided not to use it since I had gotten that far without it. On round 90-95 it sent about 40-50 blimps at a time. On 96-100 it sent probably up to 80 at a time. On round 100 it sent 60 followed by another 60 followed by 80. Those are approximations of course and or probably way off but that is what it seemed like lol. It was definitely a great feeling seeing round 100 passed on the bottom of the screen. It definitely sucks trying to do it though.

I am quitting now. I could probably go on for another hundred+ levels but I just don't have it in me since that would take 100+ hours. I also can't stand the amount of lag that I have been getting from leaving my computer on running this game for a week. I haven't been able to do much of anything on my computer and now that I have accomplished this I am officially quitting this game. Just for those wondering. My best tower had 100k kills. It was the first Super Monkey I bought.

Here is what I did.

4 tack shooters fully upgraded at beginning. Cannon fully upgraded. About 20 tack shooters. Another cannon. Repeat the last step about 3 more times. Start massing tack shooters. Build about 60 and then another cannon. Mass tack shooters until you run out of good places to put them. Start getting Super Monkeys. ONLY BUILD 4-5 IN THE MIDDLE - I made a big mistake building as many as I did because their shots would go through balloons/blimps and just get wasted off the sides of the screen. Build most of them on the ends/beginnings of long roads or places where roads look like a snake so your plasma shots hit 2-3 blimps at a time. Build monkey beacons and upgrade to jungle drums when possible. I would suggest placing 4 in good spots instead of 5 like I had to do. Only use pineapples on balloons. Don't use them on blimps unless you are on round 90+ where there are 60+ blimps being sent at a time and when money isn't an issue.

I will post pics if people need help with placement of super monkeys but you should be able to tell what I mean by looking at the pic above.

Here is a pic to show why I placed the Super Monkeys where I did. This is the path the shot which made them very useful for popping blimps/balloons.


And just for fun, I sold all of my towers and built Super Monkeys - this was the result:


And that was only 1/4 of the blimps that came at one time lol.

huh..wow thats alot of tack shooters. how many tacks is that do you know?...I guess gettin close to 300 perhaps?

I suppose all i can really say is good job. considering there is no way to verify if you cheated or not. which im not saying you did, just saying there is no way to verify it.

You say you built all of your tacks shooters before you started building super monkeys. May i ask at what level did you stop building tacks by?

I don't know the exact number but when I sold them I had well over 150,000.
I forgot what round exactly. I just stopped building them when I felt there weren't any good spots left.

I guess I understand why you would think something isn't right. At first I thought someone who said they got to round 86 was lying because I didn't see any way to do it. You will probably get to round 100 in no time if you try and then you will probably believe me.

well...i myself am going to try this very strategy as closely as i can.

Im going to basically build and upgrade tack shooters and place as many (or close to as many) as you have. Then i will also replicate your super monkey placement. This seems like a very straight forward strategy, so i should at least be able to get into the very high 90's......

just one question...how much pineapple work did you do?....i think you say you used them minimally? is that correct?

this just seems unlikely, mainly for the reason that you have 30 fully upgraded super monkeys....along with your 300 or more tack shooters.....

but...like i said. For every 'non-cheating' strategy that someone comes up with....it is very testable. Especially a strat as simple as this one.

I meant 150,000 money.

And having that many super monkeys isn't as unlikely as you think as rounds last for extremely long amounts of time when you get that high up.

I used maybe 20 pineapples on the tougher rounds. I can promise I never used more than 50 in one round.

Yeah I wouldn't have gone so far as to not call an exploit a cheat neither
