But i have a question, how do you get the pic right on screen and not in a link?

Is it just Copy & Paste?

An easy way would be to do as you have done with the attachement. Click on the link, and copy the adress in the browser. Now go back to your post and click insert picture, and use the link you copied before. Now the picture is visible in the post.

You cannot copy and paste, as you need a link to the picture to show it in the post. If you have it on your desktop you need to upload it somewhere. This is what you do whenn you add it as attachement, but you can also upload it to imageshack or other places that will host your pictures for you.

The image you are using are in a very bad resolution though, and I think something went wrong somewhere. Do you have a picture saved that is larger?

You can see an example of how I did this in This Thread

Ok - at number 3 you click preview, click on the attachement you just put in, and copy the adress as shown in your browser, then click back and go down to your message and click the add picture button, and insert the link you just copied.

About the picture, what might have happend is that you chose the automaticaly created thumbnail version of the picture. Open my picture, and make sure the the picture you want to upload has a size of more then 20Kb, otherwise the picture is saved wrong, and you can change some settings in Gimp, but most likely you uploaded the thumbnailversion.

You need to put it on a hosting site one way or other, after all you would like me to see the picture, so it is no use having it only on your computer. In this case you are using towerdefence.net as the host.

Why...why didnt you said that before...

Go to "Go Advanced" in your post. After that, scroll down to see "Manage Attachments". Click it. Now a new page will show up. Do you see the first option "Upload File from your Computer"? You're using that. Click the "Search" button in the right and look up where do you saved your image (make sure the image fit in the requirements (Max Filesize, Max Width and Max Height)). Now click "Upload". When you finish your post and click "Submit Reply", you're going to see your attached image there

4)save as:
Onslaught 3.4 bil.jpg
5)put it in album (blurry)
6) came here
7) and then i reopend page on another tab and i copied album link
8)click add pic on post (mountain pic)
9)copied link
10)posted
11)said it was an image, but it came as x
12)was that cause it was 125.9 Kb?

[IMG][/IMG]
Hopefully this works...trying everything i can

WHY...WHY!!!!!!!!!!
Why does it have to be so aggravating...it came out unreadable! U cant see much, and other ppls come out sharp...i think i know a problem i havent told yet... when im on GIMP and i save it as a jpg it said "jpg plug-in cannot handle transparency" Options:Export or ignore, export ruined the file, but i clicked ignore the second time... is there an update to jpg plugin u have to do?

Ok, so you now know how to post the images in posts. The only problem is this Gimp. Why do you have to use it? After you saved the image on paint, the image is all normal. So you already have the image ready for being uploaded or used as an attachment. So why do you use Gimp?
