Arrow Need help for Level id: #30 Carapace

While playing this wonderful game I am stuck on level kd: #30
The monsters are moving in with too many at the same time.
(I am at level 93 for my experience)

At wave 21 I will run out of mana.

I have not been able to find a tip or video about this level. So after a week trying I will have to ask you guys here for help.

If you get too many monsters, consider using poisentraps, combine a level 4 green with a level 4 red for a mass-poisen trap.

In general using traps are very effective, when you get overwhelmed.

Good luck, and let us know if you succeed

At wave 21 I will run out of mana.

I have not been able to find a tip or video about this level. So after a week trying I will have to ask you guys here for help.
I'll try to help you

1. Skills:
(In lvl 93 you should have 460 skill pts [(93-1) * 5 = 460 - {why -1? Beacuse in 1 lvl you don't have any skill pts, only after you'll get 2 lvl you can spend your 1st skill pts}]

Focus : lvl 10
Flexible pool: lvl 10
Towerbuilder: lvl 7
Traplayer: lvl 7
Trap specials: lvl 10
Replenish: lvl 10
Forge: lvl 8
Radiance: lvl 9
Resonanse: lvl 10
Recharge: lvl 10
Turbulence: lvl 10
Duel gem mastery: lvl 10
Mana gain mastery: lvl 10
Slowing mastery: lvl 10
Poison mastery: lvl 10

(On screens I've had the same skills but with Enhanced pool lvl 10, you should enlarge Mana pool to min. 3k or 4k)
2. Start:

You'll have at start:
2 orange gems: grade 2 and 3
2 blue gems: grade 2 and 3
2 green gems: grade 2 and 3

1.Build 2 traps with orange gems(grade 2 and grade 3)
2.Build 2 towers (or 3 towers, if you'll have mana) with:
- Grade 4 Green-Blue (mix Green gem 3 and Blue gem 3)
- Grade 3 Green-Blue (mix Green gem 2 and Blue gem 2)
3. Destroy building near your Wizard Tower

3. After 10th wave:

You should have:
- 3 towers with Green-Blue gems 4
- 1 tower with Green-Blue gem 5
or better

4. After 15th wave:

You should have:
- 4 towers with Blue-Green gems 5
or better of course :P

If you see that you have some problems with monsters you can do traps with Blue gems and Green gems close to Blue trap(s)

5. After 25th wave:

- 3 towers with grade 6 gems (Blue-Green)
- 1 tower with grade 5 gem

(After ths level try to get a lot of mana beacuse some monsters can pass trough your towers and you should get enogh mana to banish them)

At the end:

- 4 towers with grade 6 gems

(You can see that I had a lot of mana, almost 3k but I destroyed all monsters without losing mana ).

For better score and gems you can buy Mana pool or do more traps with orange gems (transumate other gems into orange gems)

I hope that this will help you

Traps are good vs Swarm, however in Carapace its all about upgrading to get a more powerful gem because the monsters will resist fire from lower level gems. Find a balance between upgrading your mana pool and buying higher grade gems. Once you can do that you shouldn't have a problem beating it.

I'll say the way he did it in that tutorial was cute and funny and all that, but the ending score was a very meager amount just over 1 million. It doesn't look like he angered any mobs in the tutorial and that is a mistake. What works for me on every level is to concentrate on 2 or 3 super gems. Just make 2 level 4 dual gems in the beginning (although I agree you should also have the mana traps). Anger mobs the following ways:

Normal mobs: 3 gems
Runners: 2 gems
Swarms: 0 or 1 gems
Armor: 3 or 4 gems
Big monsters: 5 or 6 gems

From level 1 to 15 or 20 it is ok to anger with level 1 gems, but after that you should have enough mana from upgrading the mana pool and your mana traps to be using level 2 or better gems. Now, instead of combining to make your gems higher level, what you should be doing instead is the following. I'll assume you're going to use duel blue/green.

1. Anger enough mobs in front of you that you don't have to worry about angering for a bit.
2. Wait to hit 480 mana.
3. Combine your dual gem with 4 level 1 gems (2 green, 2 blue).
4. Again, anger some mobs and wait for 480 mana.
5. Take the gem with the slowest firing rate and again, combine with 4 level 1 gems.
6. Repeat.

Just keep combining with level 1 gems and you will quickly create a level 4 gem that has a maximum firing rate of 222 and that does several hundreds of damage and has an enormous range. Once you reach this point, you can either continue combining with level 1 gems to increase only its attack power, or you can upgrade it to level 6, in which case some of its stats will fall, but when you start upgrading with level 1 gems again you'll be able to increase its firing rate to 272. Meanwhile, while you are angering mobs and creating tons of level 1 gems, whenever you have a bunch of extra mana (and that should be quite often), increase your mana. If you can get yourself at least above 30K or so mana you'll be set for a decent score at the end. If you can get above 50K mana your score will easily be over 10,000,000. If you can get above 100K mana your score should probably somewhere near 30,000,000.

Oh right, before I forget do remember to, in the very beginning, destroy that spawn point right next to your wizard tower. Level 2 gems should be enough to take it out.

You used "super gem" tactic, it's good but I showed the easiest tactic to beat this level

I was simply pointing out that your tactic gets just over 1 million points, while the super gem tactic can get easily over 10 or 20 million points and it's not that difficult to do.
