I don't particularly like the MOAB idea because bloons was one that went against the traditional way of hp. In most games each monster has a certain amount of hp...and the way a bloon had different stages rather than an amount of hp was really one of the things that made bloons 2 very highly rated on this site. Other than the moab, the game is really outstanding.

Bloons 3 gets to such a high level of power, there wasn't really any other way to take it.

I decided to test the MOAB's, and after hitting level 37 about 5 times, using methods not worthy of any scoreboard (user-created sandbox mode, and when doing it, I ALWAYS navigate away from a flash game before reaching any scoreboards, I just wish more people didn't use user-created sandboxes to reach scoreboards), they have a minimum distance to travel before popping. This is true whether putting down over 1000 spike stips, having 14 fully upgraded super monkeys with jungle drums in range, or dropping over 1000 pineapples along the path. No matter how much is done to them, they will not pop before a certain range.

What is the range? And does it increase as you progress? Can this mean eventually you will not be able to pop anymore?

thats probably how Xin got so far.....cause if you look at his tower placemet...alot is focused twoards the end of the map..

that might make a big difference

actually, that range thing is just silly, bcz on bloons td 4, MOAB MAULERS deal 10* dmg to moab, and bfb's can be killed at a shorter distance that moabs sometimes.

yeah, but it's not silly here on bloons TD 3.

Which reminds me since... well, the thread's already here, does MOABs and BFB have a range of invulnerability in the sequel?

Because it's a bug needed to be fixed...

- is this getting anywhere?
Edit: yep, MOABs and BFBs have no "invisible" moments the moment they enter the field.
tacks for the win!

(I also under-estimated the plane, thinking the the darts only do one "damage" )

As I know, in Bloons Tower Defence 4 the MOAB's die after certain hits. As in Bloons Tower Defence 3, im not sure...some say its timing, others, certain amounts of hits...
