![]() I can't beat 133 no matter how hard I try. Achieved this a week ago using Machine Guns only, since then I'm trying many different strategies (I'm even drawing plans for every next battle), but I'm very close to breaking this barrier ![]() Planes after 110-120 are so d.amn strong... |

Hey Prophet... very cool maze
![]() Cannons don't generally get much respect but I like 'em. I like how they blow stuff to smithereens. I like the sound they make. I like that they have a radius of damage where they hit. 'course, the down side is they are useless against the planes. So far I have avoided mapping out a planned maze, but really it seems like the only way to get much farther than the mid-120's I really hope there's an Easter Egg of some kind at 150. If this game is just infinite that would be toooo brutal! |

After many many plays I have my personal record beaten.
This maze was precisely planned before starting a new game, but there are still some flaws. ![]() I'll try 4 Emitters, more Turrets (13-14) and Plasma instead mGuns... soon I'm going to draw some sketches first... Last edited by Prophet; November 12th, 2008 at 07:47 PM. |

I don't understand why so many machine guns, or plasma for that matter. Seems like the money is better spent on emitters.

![]() This time the result is a little bit worse. Why mGuns and Plasma? B/c they're shooting at ground and air units so these cannons do always shoot without a sweat when Turrets are just lying there and waiting for something to happen... Around 120-130 Emitters seems to be underpowered. Anyway I'll try Emitters scattered across whole map, I think there will fit just about 7 or 8 (or many more when modifications will be made) using my type of maze around that kind of these greenies. I'll post the results after leaving the war zone. |

Indeed, upgrading is very important. It is still important to have a maze set up, but don't forget to get upgrades.

Wave 144...
But even with that many missile turrets maxed out the air waves including the boss there still were making it by. The heavies + narrow wall paths did work for a strech too, but even they were overwhelmed by the end.
