how far with no points spent on skills?

I have just looked at one of my old saved games, and noticed that I racked up at least 96 wizard points without using any. I was at level 25.

It actually wasn't intentional... I kind of forgot/didn't know about them.

You can imagine how much better the game flowed when I realised how to upgrade the skills. It just meant I had to go back and play the levels again for a higher score.
