For me, that code looks easier then C++, it only takes a map with every tile placed a couple times to learn it :P, but there is a map editer. Go to Map editer in the ... I'll explain.

It is a wave editor. The easiest level is Lv. 1, it gives you 999gp and 999exp/slime, perfect for a head start.
