Defend Your Kingdom... ?

Does anyone have any strategies for this game? For some reason im having a bit of trouble.

ahh, After a couple (a lot) of tries I beat it. yay.

This is probebly the easiest game ever. I get 5 turrets on each other and have mouse aim mode. I get 9 of every element on my turret. By then I am half way done. I do every difficulty and have no problem. I never lost a life. I can't explain were to place the first turret or were to aim. sorry.
