Default Different Method

Here is a screenshot of m completion on hard. Might be a little hard to see as I forgot to save it before the high score screen came up.

I started with two flame throwers on either side of the river, with cannons to funnel the creeps to the north. I upgraded the cannons to a 2, perhaps 3. I put in the machine guns on the east upgrade to a 2 or 3 before the first fling ones came in - this is a must as they help weed out the flying creeps. I put in the howitzers next, but trying to get the laser ASAP. The laser is a fast must to deal with the flying creeps, upgraded flamethrowers and cannons deal with land movers pretty good. Next came the missile launchers when some flying creeps got through the lasers (lasers were hitting the boss), then came the maze up north. The only creep to get to the maze was the final guy, and he never made it to the final turn. Keys:
- FLame throwers at the begginning
- upgraded machine guns to weed out flyers
- I upgraded cannons to level 5 eventually
- Lasers ASAP
- I upgrades all the main guns to level 5 soon

This took a few trys, and I don't think it will work great on crazy - that may be next weeks task.

I was able to complete all 3 settings in crazy mode. Here are a few points :

- The difference between Hard and Crazy is smaller than you think.
- The "dune" setting is the hardest. Only because of the first rush.
- The only thing I made were turrets and lasers.
- Dollar for dollar, a lvl 4 turret is better than lvl 5 if you have a laser.
- Always create as much twists as you can. No straight corridors ever!
- Never had to juggle a single piece.

I can post screenshots if anyone needs help.

Default I beat it

flamethrowers are key for ground. position flamethrowers where they will hit ground troops for longest time. Upgrade all units near the entrance first to make sure you kill bosses before aircraft make it to your base. the only way to win is to make sure your lazers take out aircraft. the only way to do that is make sure bosses are dead as soon as possible.

flamethrowers are key
only use upgraded small cannons otherwise
laser asap
position a few rocket launchers near laser and base to kill stealth flyer


diddnt have to juggle once on hard.

I have been able to get through crazy level of cliff and river with 100% life.

here is my plan for river.

sorry for the image quality....I used gif format to save bandwidth.

1. initial set-up. the gap has to be closed at level 1 itself.
2. note I upgrade the middle row first as it hits the creeps twice.
3. two turrets...fully upgraded near the HQ prevent aerial attacks.
4. note how I will be blocking the creep as soon as it reaches the HQ...
5. laser added.
6. additional outer turret row added.
7. additional outer row upgraded to level 5 for maximum range.
8. game over...100% life preserved.
