Default Attempt to hire an AS programmer

I have been searching for a AS3 programmer to program all the new features you suggested, but i didn't get much responds on other forums i tried so far.

Now i made another topic on a big AS3 forum:
http://www.actionscript.org/forums/s....php3?p=867845

Let's hope this will result in a programmer.

If you know other websites where we might get a programmer, please let me know so i can make a post there too.

Hey Ezo, no disrespect man, but you might want to run that ad through a spell check because it would look more professional. Other than that I LOVE IT WHOOHOOO!!! I did what looks good to me below:

I bought the source code of a game that was abandoned by the developer and I run a website and community in the same genre as the game.

With the source code we plan to expand the game and make it even better, but since we don't have any AS3 knowledge in our community our ideas cannot come to fruition (or materialize whichever you prefer).

Now that the site has grown a bit and we have made money with advertisements I am ready to hire an AS3 developer to work on our list of updates for the game.

The game I'm referring to is Gem Tower Defense, and the list of updates we want will be very similar to this list. We are flexible on the updates, and would appreciate some feedback as to the difficulty of implementing most or all of these updates. If anything stands out as being abnormally difficult we are willing to tweak/remove them as necessary to align with our budget. (I added this obv and it can definately be left out in the interest of brevity)

I am interested in a price quote,(keep it vague so they have to throw something out there either hourly or for the whole project) and protecting the source code is very important to me so anyone hired will have to sign a confidentiality and non-compete agreement. (This way if they do screw you over you can sue them. It also shows that you mean business.)

Good luck Ezo! With the wealth of ideas myself and other members have generated over the past few months, the way we have spent much of our own free time improving on the original Gem TD almost makes Gem Tower Defence 2 feel like a form of open-source projects (and hopefully for the right reasons!). I can't wait to play Gem TD 2 once it's ready, but at the same time I would prefer that as much time is spent developing Gem TD 2 to ensure that any possible bugs and glitches are fixed, so that people could play it freely without any problems.

I know a couple boards so I'll look for one too. Should I tell him to just contact you if he's interested?

You're going to want to get several quotes from people, so we can pick the best one! The people I was talking too, turned out they had no experience... :/ I'll check other places too.

Since I know nothing abut this, I'll stay out of it so I don't mislead you.

I think this post will result in a programmer.
As i couldn't be active in this project, i can't always help the programmer if he has questions about certain aspects of the update.
Are there some people here that could keep contact with him, on questions regarding the update?
