Default 4 attempts, 4 different cannons, same results?

After a few runs through on quick cash I'm starting to wonder, is it the maze layout, or is it the tower? Using the pic here for an example.



After emitters I tried heavy cannons on the edge of each turn, then plasma cannons. Same result every time, the maze goes down around wave 126. No matter which tower used.

An all machine gun map had about the same result. Though this one took a lot of nukes to make it that far.



Looking back on the results it seems like no one cannon has an edge over the other, the sheer HP of the creeps just overwhelms everything you throw at them regardless. More so in the case of air units. So does that mean that it's not really the towers, so much as the maze you build? I'm thinking a line of heavies below the first machine gun track may pile up the area effect better, but that's changing the design. It still doesn't the question of why the various towers all seem to be uniform in effectiveness.

Still need to try a map with flamethrowers or laser cannons along that design, but I wouldn't be surprised if the results are close to the same. Any thoughts?

well....first of all, i think you should be using the wonderful screenshot system that the creators of this website have setup for our ease of use...much better then using image shack

Second of all....uh, well i dont really have a second of all at this point in time

The maze of Yours at the first screen has wrong Pulse layout. If You want that quantity of these You should have placed them at the bottom so Emitters could also hit the planes.

The mGuns arrengement isn't great at the 2nd screen also. At the top none of them can shoot the flying and You haven't placed any Turrets or Flaks.

And if You want to beat 126-127 wave You will need - for example - 11-12 maxed Turrets placed in the bottom middle so they could utilize it's full range.

It seems your problem is the air. All that seems to have gotten through it planes on your first one (Even though you used nukes).

Two man reasons..

1. Airs

2. The maze. Before upgrading, try to make the maze longer. I haven't tried it yet, but I've tried it using turrets. Also, I haven't tried the "Before upgrading" part, either. Give us a screen shot if you finish.
